Asking You! do a lot of consultation work.

This means asking adults with learning disabilities to give feedback on an organisation or service. Then, we use the feedback to suggest improvements.

We do consultations for lots of services through different bits of work. This includes:

The Leeds Learning Disability People’s Parliament
The monthly What’s On Your Mind meetings with Connect in the North and Your Health Matters
Working with groups who support adults with learning disabilities

What We Do

Our consultation work can be done in different ways, like:

  • Visits

Who Is It For?

Asking You! can do consultations for services who work with adults with learning disabilities. These include:

  • Local NHS services
  • Care providers
  • Education services
  • Housing services
  • Businesses

Other Work

Here is a list of the other work we do:

  • We run monthly What’s On Your Mind meetings with Connect in the North and Your Health Matters.
    They are information sessions on different topics for adults with learning disabilities.
    The meetings are on the first Tuesday of every month from 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Zoom
  • Experts by Experience share their knowledge and help you understand what it is like to live with a learning disability in Leeds.
