Since the closure of Leep1 last year, we have been thinking about what to call ourselves. Now, all The Advonet Group’s learning disability services will be called Asking You. This includes our project work, day opportunities and events.
This is to help bring the whole learning disability service together. It will make it easier for us to work as one team. The name no longer has an exclamation mark at the end. You might have noticed a slightly different logo on our website and Facebook page!
Sharing information
As part of this exciting change, we have lots of new information about the new, bigger Asking You service on our website. This will include:
- A page for our monthly Club Nights at Popworld in Leeds
- A timetable for our weekly Day Opportunities Service’s groups
- A page for our weekly Friendship Group
- A page about referrals to our Day Opportunities Service
This will all be on the website in the next few weeks.
Facebook page
We will also be posting more about Day Opportunities on our Facebook page. This means updates on Club Nights, groups like Out and About and other events will go on there.
There will still be posts about Asking You’s work on Facebook. This includes the People’s Parliament meetings and the Travel with Confidence Project.
