Together with 100% Digital Leeds, we are running a new project! This one is about volunteer digital champions helping adults with learning disabilities to use digital technology.

This includes using laptops, smartphones, apps and websites. The volunteers are adults with learning disabilities themselves.

This project is funded by a grant from Leeds Community Foundation. It is supported by 100% Digital Leeds.

What is the role?

This role helps adults with a learning disability to use digital skills. These skills can:#

  • Promote social inclusion
  • Improve health and wellbeing
  • Gain better access to services and information

Become a Volunteer

  • Access the digital world
  • Work with them in a person-centred way

How can I become a volunteer?

Volunteers with and without learning disabilities are needed!

  • No experience needed
  • Full training and ongoing support provided
  • Just a few hours a month can make a real difference
