Together with 100% Digital Leeds, we are running a new project! This one is about volunteer digital champions helping adults with learning disabilities to use digital technology.
This includes using laptops, smartphones, apps and websites. The volunteers are adults with learning disabilities themselves.
This project is funded by a grant from Leeds Community Foundation. It is supported by 100% Digital Leeds.
What is the role?
This project is to help adults with learning disabilities to use digital technology including laptops, smartphones, apps and websites.
You will be matched with a trained volunteer who will help you to:
- Learn new skills
- Know how to stay safe online
- Feel more confident using technology
Become a Volunteer
If you feel that you can support a person with a learning disability to:
- Access the digital world
- Work with them in a person-centred way
