Later this summer, Asking You’s Day Opportunities service is having a Drop-In. It is to show you what we can offer, including regular groups and activities.
The Drop-In is for:
- People with a learning disability
- Social workers
- People from voluntary organisations, including ones who work with Advonet
- Local politicians – MPs and councillors
- People working in health and social care
- Parents or Carers of someone with a learning disability
What’s on at the Drop-In?
At the Drop-In, we will have a space where you can see what some of our groups and activities are like. You will also be able to meet members of our team, who will be there to talk about what we can do for you or someone you are supporting.
There will be information about everything Asking You does on display boards, plus we will be providing a drink and cake. We will also have information about Advonet’s advocacy and Leeds Autism AIM services.
When and where is the Drop-In?
It is on Wednesday 1st July from 10am to 4pm. The Drop-In is in the Advonet office, just outside Leeds City Centre. Here is the address:
Advonet
Unity Business Centre
26 Roundhay Road
Leeds
LS7 1AB
A map with directions to the office by bus and car is available here: How to get to Advonet’s office
If you would like to come to the Drop-In, all you need to do is turn up – no need to book! For any questions about it, please email us at [email protected] or call Advonet on 0113 244 0606 and ask for Alex or Hazel.
