This month, the Leeds Learning Disability People’s Parliament will be meeting. It is about Being Social.
We will be talking about social opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in Leeds. At the meeting, there is:
- A talk about ‘My Perfect Day’
- A screening of a documentary from Connect in the North
- A talk from The Advonet Group about their Day Opportunities – groups and activities for adults with learning disabilities
Elected Representatives
There will also be an election for people who want to be elected representatives. The representatives will speak for the People’s Parliament at the next Leeds Learning Disability Partnership Board.

When is the People’s Parliament?
It is on Tuesday 30th September from 10:30am to 1pm. The meeting is at St Chad’s Parish Centre, at this address:

It is for adults with learning disabilities living in Leeds. Lunch will be provided and there will be tea and coffee for visitors on arrival.
